3SAE EndFace Inspection Station
The Endface Inspection Station (EFI) is a fiber inspection tool that inspects the end-face of a fiber. The EFI is primarily used to assist in PM splicing, but can also be used as a tool for inspecting fiber end-faces after fiber preparation such as cleaving or polishing.
The EFI Control software features a sophisticated GUI, in conjunction with a high-magnification 2 MP telecentric camera, providing detailed imaging of the end of a fiber.
The EFI Control software requires use of a PC and is designed for interface with Fitel S183PM Series II and S184PM fusion splicers. PC and fusion splicers must be purchased separately.
