	3SAE Large Diameter Splicing system 3SAE Technologies has developed the Large Diameter Splicing (LDS) System. Whether the application is splicing of low temperature glass fibers, tapering, end capping, high power fiber laser component fabrication and assembly (such as mode field adapters, pump combiners and pump/signal combiners), the Large Diameter Splicing (LDS) System provides capabilities that overcome the technical hurdles of current fiber component fabrication processes to meet the most demanding requirements.
	3SAE Liquid Clamp Cleaver II LDF The 3SAE Liquid Clamp Cleaver II LDF, (patent pending) is the most advanced large diameter fiber cleaver for circular and shaped fibers from 125um to 1000um. The Liquid Clamp Cleaver II LDF not only produces very flat cleaves for improved splice loss and beam quality, but now features angle cleaving for fibers 250 to 1000um in diameter at no extra cost. Angle cleaving is controlled by way of the on-board LCD and keypad interface which allows up to 30 degrees of rotation.

	3SAE AutoStrip II - Automatic Mid- Span Fiber Stripping Unit The AutoStripII is designed for fast, chemical free window stripping of optical fibers. Utilizing our patented “burst technology”, it accomplishes the often difficult task of window stripping fibers with acrylate coating diameters up to 1,000μm. The AutoStripII meets the need for variable window strip lengths at high strength and ultra cleanliness.
	3SAE Thermal Strippers - Fiber Optic Thermal Strippers for High Strength (125um) and Adjustable (40-1000um) The 3SAE Thermal Stripper for Large Diameter Fibers (40-1000um) are compact, easy-to-use fiber stripping units designed to thermomechanically remove coatings from optical fibers.
	3SAE Plasma WorkStation - Polyimide Stripping, Ball Termination, Overtube Fusing The 3SAE Plasma Work Station is a compact, precision-built instrument for performing fiber operations that are beyond the ordinary. The standard thermomechanical stripping, solvent cleaning, and arc fusion splicing technologies are now over 20 years old, and were developed for basic acrylate-coated 125um SM fiber splicing. As fiber technology continues to expand, there are production operations that are difficult or impossible to perform on standard production fiber processing tools.

	3SAE Automatic Electrode Cleaner The Automatic Electrode Cleaner, AEC, provides a simple and automated method for quickly and consistently cleaning electrodes commonly used in 3SAE’s arc based fusion splicers such as the LDS or Fitel S184 and fiber stripping products such as the PWS and FPU II.
	3SAE EndFace Inspection Station The Endface Inspection Station (EFI) is a fiber inspection tool that inspects the end-face of a fiber. The EFI is primarily used to assist in PM splicing, but can also be used as a tool for inspecting fiber end-faces after fiber preparation such as cleaving or polishing.
	3SAE EndFace Prep Station II Large-diameter optical fibers are increasingly important in the development of new optical technologies. Cleaving these fibers for splicing presents many challenges. Low angle offsets and smooth, flat endfaces are required. Many fibers are non-round or have internal structures that interfere with conventional cleaving. With some fibers priced in hundreds of dollars per meter, the length of cutoff scrap must be minimized.
	3SAE Fiber Cutting Station The Fiber Cutting Station is designed to pre cleave optical fibers for use with the EndFace Prep Station. The fiber holder is easily placed in the correct position and the blade is enabled using a sensor that starts the cutting process automatically.
